Dried and Preserved Floral Specialist

Melbourne Flower School is delighted to introduce MFS Alumni Visan,  the creative force behind Blossom + Me and an accomplished floral designer who specialises in dried and preserved flowers.

With a background in visual arts, Visan brings a refined, creative eye and thoughtful approach to floral design. Her work with dried and preserved blooms celebrates texture, form and longevity. Visan offers students and customers a deeper understanding of how everlasting florals can be styled with intention and beauty.

Visan’s designs are handcrafted with care and purpose, she blends artistic sensibility with technical skill. Her expertise extends beyond aesthetics to include flower selection, preparation and design techniques that allow dried and preserved flowers to maintain their beauty over time.

We are thrilled to welcome Visan to Melbourne Flower School and look forward to her sharing her knowledge, creativity and passion for dried and preserved floristry with you.

What You Will Learn

• How to design and create a beautiful dried floral arrangement using carefully selected flowers and foliages.
• The fundamentals of drying flowers and foliages naturally, including best practices for preserving colour, shape and texture.

 What’s included

• Your own handcrafted design to take home – a beautiful dried floral arrangement created during the workshop.
• Practical knowledge of fundamental floristry techniques – skills that you can use again and again to create your own floral designs.

What to wear

• Closed-toe shoes must be worn for all classes and workshops.

• Minimum of 4 participants for the class to proceed.
• Any bookings requiring a refund, will incur a 10% cancellation fee.
