In this immersive 2-hour workshop, Melbourne Flower School will guide you step by step in creating a stunning vase arrangement featuring an eclectic mix of native blooms. You’ll work with a vibrant selection of flowers including iconic natives such as Protea, Banksia, Leucadendron, Flowering Gum, and Geraldton Wax, alongside varieties that originate from other countries. Seasonal and unique stems like and Sea Holly and Billy Buttons may also be included, offering a diverse palette of textures, colours, and forms to explore.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll learn how to thoughtfully combine these blooms to create a balanced, visually striking arrangement. MFS instructors will share techniques for arranging stems, highlighting the natural beauty of each flower, and achieving a harmonious flow in your design. While the exact flower selection may vary depending on availability, every arrangement is carefully guided to ensure that your final design is both professional-looking and uniquely beautiful.
This hands-on experience is perfect for flower enthusiasts, creative individuals, or anyone wanting to explore the versatility and beauty of native blooms. By the end of the session you’ll leave with a gorgeous vase arrangement and newfound confidence in styling native flowers.
