Our Installation Workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience the art of large-scale floral design firsthand. In this masterclass, students gain valuable insight into what goes into planning, preparing, and constructing a major floral installation, from the initial concept to the finished display.

Over the course of the workshop, you’ll learn to create a large-scale design from the ground up. This includes understanding the structural mechanics that support the arrangement, selecting the right blooms and foliage to achieve the desired effect, and applying design principles to bring the concept to life. You’ll also explore how design style, colour, texture, and form work together to create a cohesive and striking installation.

The class is highly collaborative, giving students the chance to work together to construct a show-stopping floral piece. Once the installation is complete, the flowers are thoughtfully repurposed into individual table designs, allowing each student to take home a beautifully styled creation.

This workshop not only builds technical skills in large-scale floral construction but also fosters teamwork, creativity, and an understanding of the logistics and planning behind professional floral installations. It’s a hands-on, immersive experience that provides both practical knowledge and inspiration for anyone passionate about floristry.

Closed toe shoes must be worn for all classes and workshops.
